initial expectations

(4) I'm always up for a movie showcasing dance moves. The trailers were cute and perky so I expected the movie to be the same.

(3) Hmm...girls, girls, and girls with some interesting dance moves... but PG-13?

pace

(4) I enjoyed the dance sequences, which were plenty, so I sat nice and content in my seat. No scenes particularly dragged on. If anything, I wanted the dance sequences to be longer.

(4) The movie moved like a cheerleaders' cheers. Good pacing that kept me awake... or was it the girls? =)

plot/story

(3) If you're up for a complicated, thought-evoking movie, go see The Art of War or something. On the other hand, if you're up for a no-brainer but entertaining film, then by all means, see Bring It On.

(3) Nothing special, but nothing bad either. It's a battle involving dance moves.

cast/acting

(4) I think the cast did a pretty good job of portraying shallow cheer-obsessed teenagers. And they made it look like so much fun! I like that.

(3) Again, nothing special, but nothing that bad either.

good stuff

(4) Great dance moves. Bare skin. Girls oozing with sex appeal and attitude. Now that's good stuff.

(3) The best part of the movie for me were the dance/cheer scenes. Considering the theme of the movie, they didn't showcase enough of it though.

overall

(4) This is a very entertaining movie that makes you wanna stand up and cheer. For what, is totally up to you.

(2) Entertaining, but not enough. I think I'd see it for sure on video though.
